How to delete your Yahoo! email account.

It will permanently delete your account data and settings for your Yahoo! ID, Mail address, and Profile names. It will also delete your account data and settings across Yahoo! including the contents of your HotJobs, Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! Address Book, Yahoo! GeoCities, Yahoo! Briefcase, and My Yahoo!

Instructions

• Make sure you have your user name and password handy.
• Go to the following URL - http://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_user
• Enter your user name and password
• You will be asked again to enter your password. Enter your password and click "Terminate this Account"

Your account will be deactivated and then deleted from Yahoo's user registration database in approximately 90 days. Personal information for users subscribed to Yahoo! Finance Premium Services will be kept by Yahoo! for at least 3 years after the subscription end date.

Yahoo! may allow other users to sign up for and use your ID once it's deleted.

If you have information you don't want to loose make sure you back up all you vital information before completing these steps.

Repair a Outlook PST File

A PST file is the format for MS Outlook mail archives.

Microsoft does provide support in the form of an Inbox Repair Tool. This Inbox Repair Tool usually is able to fix the majority of damaged .pst files. Click the Start Menu and search your computer for SCANPST.EXE

1. Go to any YouTube video you are watching. Right click on page and select the "View Source" option from the menu. Or "View Page Source" for FireFox browser.

2. Press "CTRL + F" to search for a word "player2.swf". And notice there is a HTML line like this: "/player2.swf?video_id=tRTk0RPXtW4&l=63&t=OEgsTo"

3. Replace the "/player2.swf" to "www.youtube.com/get_video" and it will become: "www.youtube.com/get_video?video_id=tRTk0RPXtW4&l"

4. Paste it to the "Address Bar" at top of your browser and press "Enter". Then it will prompt you to save the video. REMEMBER to name your video with the ".flv" extension at the end of the filename. A correct example would be something like "myvideo.flv".

Keep in mind that the video you have saved just now is in Flash Video Format. It is the standard file format YouTube use to play video on their website. So, your Windows Media Player might not able to play the video. But no worry, what you need to do is just go to google.com and search for "flv player" and there are couples of Free player available. Just download and install it on your computer you will be able to watch the video you saved just now.

As you surely know, Google is a company that owns an impressive number of products from multiple categories such as video solutions, mail services, calendar, blogs and numerous search technologies including news, jobs, maps, groups and patents. Obviously, every client of the Google products has his own favorite services used every day for a certain activity. In the next lines, I'll present you the top 10 Google solutions in my opinion with a short description for every service in the list.

1. Google Search is regarded as the best search engine on the Internet because it provides an impressive amount of information from numerous websites in the entire world. I use it every day for certain activities so I guess it is quite popular among the Internet users.

2. Gmail is the mail solution provided by Google, released on April 1, 2004 and available as a free public beta. Since the launch date, Gmail was available only by invitations,
requiring users to register for the service using an invitation sent by another client of the product. The service was improved several times but the most important feature seems to be Mail Fetcher that allows users to receive up to 5 POP3 accounts directly into the Gmail inbox. Increasing Band-Width By 20%:

Microsoft reserves 20% of your available bandwidth for their own purposes like Windows Updates and interrogating your PC etc

To get it back:

Click Start then Run and type " gpedit.msc" without quotes.This opens the group policy editor. Then go to:
Local Computer Policy then Computer Configuration then Administrative Templates then Network then QOS Packet Scheduler and then to Limit Reservable Bandwidth.

Double click on Limit Reservable bandwidth. It will say it is not configured, but the truth is under the 'Explain' tab i.e."By default, the Packet Scheduler limits the system to 20 percent of the bandwidth of a connection, but you can use this setting to override the default."
So the trick is to ENABLE reservable bandwidth, then set it to ZERO. This will allow the system to reserve nothing, rather than the default 20%.It works on Win 2000 as well.

Microsoft told bloggers that copy protection is too complex.

Mr Gates was talking to bloggers and web developers at Microsoft's Seattle headquarters. Digital Rights Management (DRM) is used to stop copying. It is, however, an issue for people, even those who purchase media legally, for they feel it limits them. "DRM is not where it should be," said Mr Gates.

"In the end of the day incentive systems (for artists) make a difference," said Mr Gates.

"But we don't have the right thing here in terms of simplicity or interoperability," he added.
